Colombia Almibar #2

This value-added, communal blend is produced by smallholders in Central Huila. Almibar is a new concept we have been working with with Coocentral, our partners in the region.

Through our collaboration, we started working with exceptional coffee producers who, while not producing sufficient volume for single-origin microlots, produce high quality coffees. The result is a value-added blend, ensuring farmers receive premiums for their coffee and gain entry into the specialty coffee market.

'Almibar' is Spanish for sugary syrup, reflecting the prevalent syrupy, sugary flavour in coffees from Central Huila.
